वो जिनको सूरज मिलता था मेरी चौखट से / अब वो खैरात में देते हैं उजाले मुझको !

Newspaper headlines aflush announcing—SENIOR CITIZENS HONOURED. For what? Who we should adore, take care, serve, feed, support, respect, wheeled out if incapacitated, and spend time with, are doing us the HONOURS. Of staying put and being around! I am reminded of a couplet— वो जिनको सूरज मिलता था मेरी चौखट से / अब वो खैरात में देते हैं उजाले मुझको !

वो जिनको सूरज मिलता था मेरी चौखट से / अब वो खैरात में देते हैं उजाले मुझको ! - Bahut Khoob Rajbir Ji. Have seen it very closely - After marriage newly acquired parents outweigh the toil, sweat and love of biological parents in most of the cases, few exceptions have either become single again, are living on the edge with their hard balancing acts or have recoiled in their hardened shells which aren't affected by the worldly tumults. I love the old or young people's psyche who have reconciled to the almighty's sense of great humour and laugh-out at the theatre of chivalrous melodrama. Psychotic am I? - Role playing, Isn't it.
