I took this colour pic of the Ganga Bridge two years back while my father took took the B&W one, may be about sixty years back--both with different angles! Enough has changed since then including the quality of water in Holy Ganga . Ram teri ganga mailee ho gyi...!

I like the B&W more than the coloured one, there is always a pristine and holy touch to them. I went to Haridwar long time back, 5 minutes after me and my friend crossed the bridge, the bridge collapsed - lot of people died. They only came to cleanse and purify themselves, I still believe that god was 5 minutes late in taking action - bloody god-o-cratic red tapism it was that's what I can say now.
