हम-ख्याल - If I get it right it means - "same-thoughts" or widely interpreted as "understanding on the similar lines". That to me is highly dangerous for the evolution of thinking process, hypothetically speaking if it is extrapolated from single dimension to three dimension world than it will be jamming of abilities which nature has endowed on each and every creature on this earth. Only mis-understandings can widen the sphere of thought process, understanding sometimes may be a sugar-coated mis-understanding but it also helps to balance the jam and carry the flow. As someone said - If everyone is thinking alike than no one is thinking. Thoughts do cross each other but if they coincide and merge together in unison than it is still single thought. On the same note I believe - हम-ख्याल from any corner of the world is हम-जबां , but other way round may not be true.
